ProArt monitors from Asus offer professional features required for photographers and graphic artists. The PA27AC is a 27-inch type IPS panel providing WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440), 100% sRGB colour gamut and colour accuracy of ΔE < 2. The bezel-less display provides more display area for the size and also makes it look aesthetically appealing. Asus claims that it has 77 percent more screen space than similarly sized Full HD displays. The monitor comes pre-calibrated, but can be re-calibrated using an external calibrator so that you can ensure accuracy of colours even under the ambient lighting in the room. It is compatible with X-rite i1 Display Pro and Datacolor Spyder 5 series of calibrators. The PA27AC features the Asus ProArt calibration technology, which uses a 14-bit lookup table (LUT) as reference for colour accuracy and 5 x 5 grid uniformity testing. Asus advanced gray-scale tracking technology provides a report of calibration levels 63, 127 and 255 to help you with fine-tuning the calibration levels. The PA27AC features 95 percent uniformity compensation to prevent fluctuations in brightness and chroma at different parts of the screen. The monitor provides up to 400 nits of brightness and conforms to HDR-10 standards, offering superior dynamic range. The wide dynamic range also allows for better monochrome image reproduction with excellent tonal width. The device is Windows and Mac OS-certified.
The PA27AC features an internal scaler IC chip to save all colour information. This ensures consistency of colours even when the monitor is connected to different devices having different colour settings. This feature also reduces signal distortion between the optical spectra of the IC and the LCD. The hot keys on the monitor provides easy access to these profiles. The monitor allows you to customise features such as colour gamut, brightness, black levels, gamma correction, colour temperature and uniformity. The display provides features such as Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP), letting you view content from multiple WQHD sources simultaneously and easily switch between them. The PbP feature also lets you customise each window’s colour setting individually.
The PA27AC features two USB-C ports that support Thunderbolt 3, offering up to 40 Gbps data transfer rate and power delivery of up to 45W, enough to charge your laptop or tablet and connect external devices that require USB power. You can even connect multiple devices through a single port using a USB hub. This is in addition to three USB 3.1 ports that are available. A 5-way navigation joystick allows you easy access using the on-screen menu. The monitor also features Asus eye care technology, through which you can reduce blue light, so that you need not worry about eye fatigue. The PA27AC can be tilted, swivelled and pivoted, and the height can be adjusted up to 120 mm.
The monitor measures 614 x 353 x 55 mm (W x H x D) and weighs 8.5 kg (both with stand). The PA27AC retails at an all inclusive end user price of Rs.73,000. For availability, please refer to the link: https://www.asus.com/in/Monitors/PA27AC/wheretobuy/
