Canon wants to bring production back to Japan
Canon Inc. is looking to increase the production from its home country, Japan, from 40%of their overall output to about 60%. The weak Yen seems to have spurred this move; and Canon isn't the only electronics company to take this action. Nikon to launch D5500, a replacement for D5300
Nikon announced the D5500, an entry-level D-SLR which is a replacement to the D5300. It has a 24 MP CMOS sensor with no optical low pass filter and a 3.2-inch Vari-angle touch screen LCD with 1.37 M-dot display. The camera is lighter and smaller than its predecessor.
