Light Chasers, in exclusive association with Canon India, announced IndiaKliks, a new international photo-event and photography contest for Indian photography enthusiasts. The contest is open from August 28th to October 31st, 2013, and features the theme ‘BLISS’. Entries can be submitted in the form of portraiture, candid shots, shots of street life, culture, nature, landscapes, wildlife, etc., and will be displayed at exhibitions, published, and select works will also be sold. The contest winner will receive a Canon 700D as an award; the contest will be followed by a three-day symposium in New Delhi, from 6th to 8th December, 2013, which will feature workshops, photo talks, portfolio reviews, and panel discussions by eminent photographers and industry experts.
