Monsoons offer endless opportunities for photography. Unfortunately, most photographers fear damage to their equipment and pack away their gear during the rainy season. This need not be so; with basic care and a little ingenuity, one can protect one’s equipment and still enjoy his favourite hobby.
So, this monsoon season, don’t pack away your gear and please don’t store your cameras and lenses in a cupboard full of clothes. Clothes attract moisture which cause fungus to grow within your lenses.
Do consider storing your equipment in a humidity controlled drying cabinet.
