The last decade has seen sweeping changes in video technology. From standard definition, we moved on to High Definition and then to Full High Definition. 4K is now common, and soon we will be moving to 6K and 8K. High Dynamic Range adds to brightness levels and produces richer colours. Still photography seems to be missing out on this revolution. This makes it all the more likely that in the near future, the distinction between still and video photography will be blurred and excellent quality stills will be extracted from moving images.

Any takers?
