The Nokia Lumia 1020 was released in India on September 26, 2013. The new addition to the Nokia Lumia collection has a second generation 41 megapixel sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS) and PureView technology, to produce sharp images. The camera has a dual capture feature that takes high resolution 38 megapixel images and creates a 5 megapixel picture that is easy to share to social networks with Windows Phone 8. Images taken with the phone by director Imtiaz Ali, fashion designer and couturier J.J. Valaya and chef and film maker Vikas Khanna were exhibited at the launch. The Nokia Lumia 1020 comes with a fully integrated and true offline maps experience from the HERE location suite and access to a wide variety of music, available to stream or download with Nokia Music. The product is available in Indian stores since October 11. Both, the Nokia Lumia 1020 and the Nokia Camera Grip will be available in yellow, white and black.
