OnePlus 5 Launched in India at Rs.32,999

June 22, 2017 by Sujith Gopinath

IMG_5245OnePlus has launched its new flagship, the OnePlus 5 in Mumbai. Powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45 GHz with Adreno 540 GPU, the device is available in two formats, the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory and the top model with a whopping 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The devices are priced at Rs.32,999 and Rs.37,999 respectively and are available exclusively on Amazon along with exciting offers.
The phone can easily be mistaken for an iPhone 7 Plus, albeit smaller, with the dual rear cameras, flash and even the antenna lines positioned alike. Apart from the looks, the camera also functions like the iPhone 7 Plus with one used for normal images and the other for telephoto shots with shallow depth-of-field. The front camera is 16 megapixels, while the dual main cameras offer 16 and 20 megapixels.
The device features Dash charging and alert mode switch that were present in the OnePlus 3. The battery is 3300mAh and the company claims that the device is optimised for saving power. For further details, look forward for our review in Smart Photography.
