Sony announced the launch of a new compact interchangeable lens system camera called the NEX-5T. The NEX-5T is essentially the NEX-5R, but with new Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for one-touch transmission of images to other devices, such as Android-based smartphones and tablets compatible with NFC. The camera’s other features remain the same as the NEX-5R, such as a 16MP sensor, and a touch-screen swiveling LCD. The camera is available from September 13th for 60,000 yen for just the body, or for 65,000 yen for a kit with a 3x zoom lens.
