Street Views

August 1, 2016 by SPEdit Team

AStreet1Hitesh Soni is a photographer, a traveller and a teacher. Beginning from his first camera which was a point and shoot gifted to him by his mother, to his current Canon EOS 6D, Hitesh’s journey as a photographer has been an adventure which he cherishes the most.

Wall of faith

Being an avid traveller, he often takes off to distant places on his motorcycle which provides him with innumerable photographing opportunities. He specialises in portrait, street, travel and candid photography. He believes that photography isn’t only about techniques but also a beautiful display of a photographer’s interaction with people and nature.

He also teaches photography. Apart from the theory sessions, wherein he teaches his students about the settings and basic handling of the D-SLR, he also takes them for photowalks where the students get a hands on experience in understanding the basic nuances of photography; they learn to make quick decisions amidst the chaos on the streets and get the desired shot, and enables them to capture an entire story in a single frame. Hitesh truly believes that in the process of teaching others, he gets to learn something new each day. |SP
