Xiaomi has launched the Mi A1, its first Android One-based smartphone. Powered by a 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, the phone features 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory in addition to unlimited Google Photos storage.
The main camera is a dual 12-megapixel model capable of capturing images with bokeh effect. One of the cameras uses a wide-angle (26mm) while the other uses a telephoto (50mm) lens, similar to iPhone 7Plus and OnePlus 5. The camera is supported by a duotone flash. Xiaomi claims better images with a 1.25 micron pixel pitch of the sensor.
The full metal body device has a 5.5 inch Full HD screen with 2.5D curved glass protected by Corning Gorilla glass, rounded edges and seamless design. The battery has 3080mAh capacity.
The phone includes better heat dissipation mechanism with a dual graphite sheet. It uses a USB Type C port and includes a fast charger. It also boasts an IR blaster. The A1 also has a dedicated Micro SD slot for memory expansion up to 128GB.
The Mi A1 carries an MRP of ₹14,999. As a special offer, you get additional 200GB 4G data from Airtel. The device will be available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold from 12 noon on 12th September at mi.com and flipkart.
