Xiaomi has launched its much awaited Mi5 smartphone in India. Equipped with a Snapdragon 820 quadcore processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, the phone features a curved back, fingerprint sensor and sleek camera. It also has a 3000 mAh battery and 4GB DDR4 RAM. The 16 megapixel camera features 4-axis Optical Image Stabilisation, probably a first in a smartphone, along with Phase Detection AF. The device will be available at an MRP of Rs. 24,999. The company has also announced a discounted sales on April 6 at mi.com.
