vivo, has announced the third edition of the vivo Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards—celebrating the joy of imagination and inviting both photographers and photography enthusiasts from all walks of life to share their distinct perspectives on the world through a smartphone lens. With this edition, vivo aims to position the platform as a catalyst for India’s photography community—transforming smartphone photography into a powerful medium for storytelling and authentic self-expression, global smartphone brand, has announced the third edition of the vivo Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards—celebrating the joy of imagination and inviting both photographers and photography enthusiasts from all walks of life to share their distinct perspectives on the world through a smartphone lens. With this edition, vivo aims to position the platform as a catalyst for India’s photography community—transforming smartphone photography into a powerful medium for storytelling and authentic self-expression.
The platform champions photography that embodies creativity, intent, and a unique personal vision, placing the power of perspective above the value of equipment. The extended format will give participants the time and freedom to experiment, refine, and deliver work that blends artistic vision with technical mastery—reaffirming vivo’s commitment to elevating mobile imaging. Open to participants from across India, the awards seek submissions that convey originality and use photography as a medium for meaningful storytelling. Acclaimed filmmaker Zoya Akhtar will helm the jury, joined by noted photographers Vineet Vohra, Rakesh Pulapa, and Aamir Wani.
The awards will feature six categories of participation: Nature & Landscape, Night & Light, Architecture, Motion, Portrait, and Street & Culture. Entries will open on August 22 and close on November 30, after which the jury will shortlist the 6 finalists for the final evaluation across the six categories. The winner will receive a cash prize of ₹5,00,000, while the category winners will receive a vivo X200 Pro smartphone.

How to Participate:
- Participants will submit their entries through the official vivo website www.vivoimagine.com, providing basic details, selecting categories (Nature & Landscape, Night & Light, Architecture, Motion, Portrait, and Street & Culture), and uploading their shot-on images. The entry submission will close on 30th November 2025.
- The jury will select 6 finalists out of the pool of entries. (one for each category)
- The top 6 finalists will be invited to the Grand Finale event in December.
- The grand jury winner will receive INR ₹5,00,000, and six category winners will each receive a X200 Pro smartphone at the event.
In its 2024 edition, the Imagine Awards attracted over 17,000+ entries from across India. The top 30 finalists participated in masterclasses and mentorship sessions with the jury before submitting final works for evaluation. Kukkala Suresh was named the grand winner and awarded INR 5 lakhs for his outstanding image.
