After completing his post graduation in science (Mumbai University), Vaibhav Jaguste worked at a multinational company for 16 years. He travelled to many parts of India and trekked intensively in the Himalayas. He has trekked in various scenic places of this mountainous region, like Everest Base camp, Adi Kailas, Om Parvat, Chandrakhani etc. Now, Jaguste has started a firm called Sarita Travels Solutions that arranges photography tourism outings for amateur and professional photographers. For Vaibhav, photography is the art of light, which soulfully captures the wonders perceived by our eyes. This form of art has become an important part of our life. Photography captures not only beauty, but also the depth of feelings and inspires people to see the world in a different manner. It enables Vaibhav to express his thoughts in a unique way. And it’s always a pleasure for him to see more and more people getting involved with this way of expression, turning it into a greater family without the boundaries of religion, caste, creed and so on. Photography has been his passion since his father bought him his first ever camera which was the Zenith 12 XP for a mere Rs.600 in the mid-eighties. He used this camera for many trekking expeditions. In the year 1999, he became life member of India’s premier photography club, the Photographic Society of India, and his passion started flourishing with great success in several state and national level photo exhibitions. Due to his achievements, the Photographic Society of India conferred its prestigious honour APSI upon him and the Federation of Indian Photography has honoured him with its Fellowship (FFIP) for Pictorial Photography. The International Federation of Photographic Art, Luxembourg has honoured him with the AFIAP, and the India International Photographic Council has honoured him with the prestigious AIIPC. Till date, more than 500 of his images have been exhibited in National and International Exhibitions organized in various countries like Argentina, Serbia, USA, UK, China, Croatia, Macedonia, Hungary, Belgium, Greece, Iran etc. He has won more than 50 Awards at National and International levels.
