Canon India conducted a workshop across Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and New Delhi exclusively for women. Professional photographers like Anushri Kumar, Anuja Jain, Anuradha Marwah and Amrita Samant spearheaded this workshop. It covered topics like portraiture, food, scenary and jewellery photography.
At this workshop, women were taught the functionality of D-SLR cameras and several techniques for the aforementioned genres. A click and print activity was also executed.
Andrew Koh, Vice President of Consumer Imaging and Information Centre, Canon India, said, “These dedicated workshops create an engaging platform for all the participating photography enthusiasts and creates mutually rewarding opportunities. We aim to solidify the culture of photography amongst women and organise more such workshops in future”.
About 400 participants across all four metros were in attendance at the workshop. To continue pursuing this art and to enhance their skills, participants were also given a photography handbook.
