On January 6, 2015, Canon has launched the Asia Traveller Protection Programme (ATPP) which provides customers access to professional Canon repair services for their cameras and lenses across 12 markets in Asia. Any unexpected costs of camera repairs that Canon customers may incur during their travels (covered under their prevailing warranty), will be reimbursed back in their home country
The ATPP covers EOS D-SLR cameras, EOS M compact interchangeable-lens digital cameras, EF lenses, and compact digital camera products. The ATPP runs across 12 markets – China, Hong Kong, Southb Korea, India, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
