Canon has debuted high yield refillable ink tank printers with the launch of PIXMA G series Ink Tank printers. This takes Canon closer in competition to their main rival Epson, who have so far enjoyed monopoly in Ink Tank printers ever since the launch of their L-series models. The four G-series models—G1000, G2000, G2002, G3000 made their debut in India.
“Canon is a new entrant into the category but we are excited and bullish about capturing approximately 30% of the CISS market by the end of Dec 2016,” said Kazutada Kobayashi, President and CEO, Canon India Pvt. Ltd.
The PIXMA G Series range starts from Rs. 9595 for the basic model and goes up to Rs. 16795 for the advanced wireless model. The replacement ink bottles are priced at Rs. 499 per un
