The results of the recently organized 2nd iteration of the DJ Memorial Photography Contest (DJPMC) conducted in Coimbatore were announced. Top prizes of INR 2 lakhs, INR 1.5 lakhs, and INR 1 lakh were awarded to the top three winners respectively from two categories – Nature and Indian Rural Life. Apart from these, Certificates of Merit were also awarded to five winners each in both categories, along with a cash prize of INR 10,000. DJPMC is an annual photography contest organized by Lakshmi Machine Works Limited, in memory of its past Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. D. Jayavarthanavelu, a passionate and accomplished photographer himself.
