Seiko Epson Corp teamed up with renowned fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto for his “Fashion in Motion: Kansai Yamamoto” show, that was recently held in Japan. Using its specially developed inks, Epson printed around 30 of Yamamoto’s designs
using state-of-the-art digital textile printers on more than 1,000 m2 of textiles like cotton, polyester and silk. Yamamoto’s creations, which combine traditional Japanese designs with modern styles, were largely printed using specialist Genesta inks using the SurePress FP-30160. Epson’s textile printers offer more control over the printing process.
