Ecofolks, in association with Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Maharashtra Nature Park,Sion(MNPS) and UNIROSS, is organising Fotothon for the third consecutive year. Contestants participating in this real-time photography contest have to shoot and submit images according to the environment theme within 24 hours. There are three categories under which participants can submit their work — Foto Story, Fab Foto and Going Macro. In Foto Story, participants have to narrate an environment-related story with five pictures. Fab Foto requires the contestants to submit an image on the topic ‘ People and their relation with environment, the beautiful nature and animal kingdom’; and Going Macro allows them to submit two of their best macro shot of the day. Prizes range from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 5000. The event will take place on November 16 and 17 at the Maharashtra Nature Park in Mumbai.
