Fujifilm Corp. announced that it would release a high-end model of its Cheki instant camera, dubbed the Instax Mini 90 Neoclassic. The new camera will be equipped with features like close focussing capability, the ability to superimpose two images on a single frame of film by pressing the shutter button twice, and the ability to automatically detect surrounding brightness and adjust the amount of flash and shutter speed accordingly. The camera is available globally since September for a retail price of about 20,000 yen (US$204), and the company hopes to achieve sales of 300,000 units by the start of the new year in Fiscal 2013.
