Fujifilm announced a new compact mirrorless camera, the X-M1. The camera uses the same 16MP APS-C size X-Trans CMOS sensor as the X-Pro1 and X-E1, but instead of the usual shutter speed and exposure compensation dials, the X-M1 uses twin electronic control dials to change exposure parameters. The X-M1 also has a 920,000 dot 3.0” tiltable LCD screen, but lacks an eye-level viewfinder. The camera ships with a brand new kit lens, the XC 16-50mm F/3.6-5.6 OIS, offering a 24-75mm equivalent zoom range, but no aperture ring.
