In a move clearly aimed at capitalizing on the booming smartphone market, Fujifilm announced that it would soon begin distributing a new Wi-Fi Photo Print app for Android-based smartphones via the Google Play Store. Using the new app, users will be able to wirelessly transfer images from their handsets to Fujifilm’s “Digicam Print Order Catcher NOE” (Princhao) self photo-print kiosk, making it easier than conventional methods to order/print images. The company is also set to expand its printing service from this autumn, offering four new varieties: “Bestshot selection prints 30/50/100”, “Square prints”, “White border prints”, and “Beauty flesh prints”. Users can choose these options while ordering prints from Fujifilm.
