Full stop weekend is a weekend photo festival that celebrates the art of photography. It will be held from February 28 – March 1, 2015 from 11am to 10pm, at DLF City Club, Phase IV, Gurgaon. The festival will host photo exhibitions, veteran talks, live stage shoots, equipment demo zones and entertainment. Photographers from various genres and styles like fashion, food, wildlife will display their works there.
The festival’s goal is to bring together patrons of photography, professional photographers, enthusiasts, aspirants, curators, art directors, makeup artists, stylists, industry experts, editors, entrepreneurs, etc. There will also be various zones for lights, camera, style, etc. A photo contest will be held to find a talented photographer who will be given a promising professional launch pad.
The festival will have veteran talks, live shoots, curated photo exhibitions, demo zones, a merchandise hub, band performances and also a performance by the stand up comedian Sumit Anand. Deepa Rajpal, Food writer, stylist and recipe developer will conduct a live workshop and shoot on food photography. Fashion photography aspirants can attend the live shoots by Jaf J Afri and Olya Milentis. Works by senior photographers like Idris Ahmed, Neeraj Mahajan, Charudutt Chitrak Studio, Amit Sharma et al will also be displayed.
