German company Metz in financial trouble

German company Metz specialises in entertainment electronics, photo electronics such as flash guns and plastics technology. According to AP, the company may be rescued from insolvency since it has received interest from potential investors. The insolvency filling may affect around 600 jobs, according to a source close to the company. Metz makes compact flashes, handheld flashguns and other flash units for professionals as well as amateur photographers.
