As I write this piece, the third variant of the virus appears to be on the wane and the economy is gradually opening up (once again). The situation is more or less similar throughout the world. Out of abundant caution, the CP + show in Japan is again virtual.
Demand for imaging products will see a gradual revival. One of the downsides of the pandemic is how it affected a victim’s approach to life. Cases of depression and general listlessness are now common. It is here that photography comes in as a saviour. Photography can help deal with physical and health issues. Photography uplifts individuals both psychologically and creatively. So, if you are feeling low, take out that camera and utilise your creative juices. You couldn’t feel better.
