Nikon opens new financial HQ in Singapore

Nikon established Nikon Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. in Singapore on June 3d, 2013, as its new financial  headquarters for Asia and Oceania. Both the regions witnessed growth in business opportunities, making  them important for Nikon. The new company will be headed by Norio Hashizume. Nikon plans to transfer its  sales and marketing operations from Hong Kong to Singapore by October 2013. The new marketing company  will integrate products distribution operations handled by local offices in Asian countries, and will be headed by Noriaki Yamaguchi, the current President of Nikon Hong Kong.
