Norman Parkinson, better know as ‘Parks’, was a fashion photographer and was also a photographer to the Royal Family and the member of the Royal Photographic Society. He was also the recipient of a CBE (Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).
His works, especially his portraits, include many icons of the twentieth century, as well as some of the world’s most beautiful women of the era. ‘Tasveer Art Gallery’ in Mumbai will be presenting an exhibition of his classic photographs from 28th April to 5th May 2012 at ICIA House, Kala Ghoda, in Mumbai.
