Poco has announced the launch of their new smartphone, the M2 Pro. It has a 16.9 cm full-screen display and a side mounted fingerprint scanner along with Z-Shocker Haptics. It features triple corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is protected by P2i’s nano-coating technology. It carries its own customisable app drawer and gives the user the option to choose between Minus One Screen of MIUI for Poco and Google’s Discover feature.
The smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and features an 8nm fabrication process, eight Kryo 465 cores (2 x Gold – Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.3GHz and 6 x Silver – Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8 GHz) and the Qualcomm Adreno 618 GPU that delivers an efficient gaming performance. Paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, Poco M2 Pro also features UFS2.1 storage up to 128GB with a microSD slot for further expansion. It comes packed with a 5,000 mAh built-in battery and a 33W fast charger which can reportedly charge the phone up to 50% in 30 minutes. Featuring a quad-camera setup, the M2 Pro comes with a 48MP wide camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. While the 8MP ultra-wide camera allows users to take pictures with a field of view of 119 degrees, the 5MP macro camera comes with auto-focus and can shoot videos in 1080p. The Raw mode feature of the camera app enables users to capture images with low compression, while the Pro-colour mode and Pro Video Mode enhances colours in still as well as moving pictures. Additionally, the smartphone also comes with a 16MP selfie camera with night mode.
The M2 Pro will be available in 4/64GB, 6/64GB and 6/128GB storage variants for INR 13,999, INR 14,999 and INR 16,999, respectively. The smartphone is available in colour variants of blue, green and two shades of black and is available for purchase on Flipkart.
