Samsung launched the Galaxy NX, the world’s first interchangeable lens camera to run the Android OS. The camera is a 20.3MP SLR-type camera, with added features like 3G/4G LTE/Wi- Fi connectivity, Android 4.2 ( Jelly Bean), and a 4.8” HD LCD touchscreen. The addition of Android as an OS gives users access to a wide range of photo-editing apps straight from the Google Play Store, that will let them make basic edits and add filters to photographs directly in-camera. Popular services like Instagram, Hipstamatic and Flickr are expected to see extensive usage by users. The Galaxy NX is expected to be available in the next few months; there was no word on pricing at the time of going to print.
