Well-known Himalayan landscape photographer Sathyaprasad Yachendra from Hyderabad recently conducted his third solo exhibition titled ‘Shangri La -The Mystique Landscape’. The theme of the exhibition was the depiction of Buddhist Monasteries against the backdrop of Himalayan landscapes. Sathya’s love of the mountains and frequent travels to this region have enabled him to capture the landscapes in different conditions and seasons. More than 25 images of 2×3 feet were exhibited. The show was sponsored by Goethe Zentrum – the German cultural organization, and was conducted at their premises in Hyderabad. The inauguration was by former test cricketer VVS Laxman, on February 7, 2015. The show, which was on till February 17, was attended by a large gathering who enjoyed the beautiful landscapes.
