Canon’s total shipment of SLR Cameras and EF Lenses
Canon Inc. announced that the EOS series SLR cameras reached the 50 million mark as of September.
The interchangeable lenses in the EF series came to 70 million units by October.

Carl Zeiss presents new lenses
Carl Zeiss presents the new Distagon T 2/25 ZE and ZF.2 moderate wide-angle lenses. Chromatic aberrations have been eliminated through a special design and selection of materials. Selected types of glass and two aspheric surfaces prevent colour fringes from appearing on high-contrast edges.
