Sony will be launching its latest full-size sensor D-SLR camera, the Alpha 7S. The camera was first announced at the NAB show as a professionaluse 4K HDMI output capable model. The A7S offers a 12 MP full-frame EXMOR CMOS sensor, ISO settings ranging from 100 to 102400 (the expandable ISO range is 50 to 406900). The company says that the newly developed image sensor provides users with better performance in any kind of light, from severe low light to bright sunlight. It has a BIONZ X image processor and frontend LSI that accelerates processing and creates images with more detail, richer tones and lower noise for capturing stills and movies.
