Sony has started selling a new type SD card based on SeeQVault standard, developed by Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic and Samsung to record High Definition images while protecting copyright of HD contents. The new SD card comes in two models, the SR-16AS with memory capacity of 16GB and SR- 32SA with 32 GB. Sony also developed a new portable wireless image server based on the SeeQVault standard for Smartphones and Tablets, which will sell for around 10,000 Yen.
