On December 15, 2014, Transcend Information Inc. launched the 256GB large capacity SDXC UHS-I cards. They offer full support for the Ultra High Speed Class 3 (U3) specifi cation, and read and write speeds of up to 95MB/s and 60MB/s. In devices that do not support the UHS-I specifi cation, Transcend’s SDXC UHS-I U3 cards off er constant write speeds of at least 10MB/s (SD Speed Class 10 performance). The cards also provide a large storage capacity to save all the highresolution 3D, 4K and full HD recordings.
The 256GB SDXC UHS-I U3 card can store more than 40,000 high resolution JPEG images (12 MP camera, 6MB file size), over 16,000 RAW images (of 14MB file size), or 16 hours of 4K Ultra HD footage (4096×2160 35Mb/s H.264 AVC compression). The cards feature Transcend’s exclusive RecoveRx soft ware, which also off ers SD Card Formatting and Data Protection functions. These memory cards are fully tested for compatibility and reliability, and carry Transcend’s lifetime warranty. The SDXC UHS-I U3 cards are available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities.
