Few would assume that this modest person, hailing from the city of Bengaluru, is a top-level nature photographer. Being an adept lensman, H.Satish is capable of portraying nature in its finest detail.
This is what sets him apart from the rest. Satish ventured into the field of cinematography at a tender age of 12 and today at 46, has been conferred with innumerable honors in recognition of his extraordinary talents. The most prominent among these are:
ARPS – Associate of Royal Photographic Society of London.
EFIAP – Excellence in photography from Federation International of Art Photographic, from Luxembourg.
MFIAP – Master of photography – Federation International of Art Photographic, from Luxembourg
FICS – Fellow of Image Colleague Society of California.
He is the very first Indian to be honored with EFIAP and MFIAP for Nature color prints. We are sure that you will recognize these as few of the highest honors in photography.
Apart from these honors, he has won no less than 400 awards in photography competitions. Among these are gold medals from countries like China, Scotland, Austria, Finland, France, etc. Over 700 of his pictures have been exhibited in numerous national and international salons

Satish has been a judge at numerous national and international salons. His love for light and color has taken him across the subcontinent. Also an avid traveller, he has travelled all over India, photographing its people, diverse cultures, exquisite tradition, landscapes, and wild life. He has a vast portfolio of around 18,000 pictures on film, and over 20,000 images in digital on all subjects.
Along with coverage in international magazines, catalogs, newspapers, brochures and books, his pictures have graced guidebooks, posters and calendars brought out by famous organizations like Outlook Traveler Magazine, Today – Travel Plus Magazine, WWF, BEML, BHEL, MICO, Canara Bank and many others.
Besides all these, Satish takes a genuine interest in sharing his knowledge by conducting classes on photography. He also conducts Nature and Wildlife Photography Workshops for budding photographers.
