Canon showcased its latest D-SLR, the EOS 600D, which is positioned as a “top-of-the-line “ camera, along with EOS 1100D, a couple of Canon EF lenses and five new Pixma Canon printers.
The Canon EOS 600D will sit between the EOS 550D and the 60D, its features include the creative art filters, 3-inch LCD screen, Full HD video capture, 18-megapixel sensor and a DiGiC 4 image processor as its unique selling point.
Designed as a stepping stone between compact and high-quality D-SLR, the new EOS 1100D is Canon’s new entry level camera. It has a 12.2-megapixel image sensor, HD movie capture, 2.7-inch TFT screen and a DIGIC 4 image processor.
In the EF Lens series, Canon has two new high performance professional lenses: the EF500mm f/4L IS II USM and the EF600mm f/4L IS II USM. Canon reports that until now they have manufactured 60 million EF lenses.
Out of five new Pixma printers introduced by Canon, MX882, MX420, MX410 and MX360 are multi-function inkjet printers, while the Canon Pixma iX6550 is a single function wide format inkjet printer. These printers fulfill both, business and personal needs.
