Canon takes photography to school children

RK_PuramCanon conducted a photography workshop at the Delhi Public School at R.K. Puram. The faculty was also included in the workshops. Some of the latest camera offerings by Canon were featured at the demo zone. The students were encouraged to experience Canon’s printing options at the ‘Click and Print’ stall in the demo zone. The workshop was innaugurated by Mr. Andrew Koh, Senior Director, Image Communication Products, Canon India.

Mr. Andrew Koh said, “We, at Canon India take pride in promoting and encouraging the immense talent that young people have. Our school outreach programs help us create an enriching learning atmosphere and we will continue to take this forward actively.”

Entries were invited from other schools in the Delhi/NCR region. Approximately 200 students from schools such as G D Goenka, Mother’s International, Vasant Valley etc. sent in their entries. The winners were gratified with cameras and participants were also given certificates.
