The company has worked out carbon dioxide emissions from its nine mainstay multifunction printers by employing the carbon footprint of products (CFP) system. This method computes CO2 emissions along each step of the product’s life cycle — from production of materials and parts to the eventual disposal of the product after use. Cutting CO2 emissions during use means that the customers will spend less on electricity.
