Last month’s update from Fujifilm shows that the company has already terminated the production of APS film ‘Fujicolour NEXIA 400’.
Its sales will stop once the present stock runs out.
Film manufacturers started producing the APS film back in 1996, when the new standard was introduced. The new standard helped make cameras smaller and lighter compared to the 35mm film. As digital is on the rise now, the sales of APS film dropped significantly each year. Fujifilm will continue the production of 35mm and other films.
