Glo Digital Press installs first HP Indigo 7500 Digital offset press

Hewlett-Packard, announced the launch of its first HP Indigo 7500 Digital offset press for the Indian market.


Glo Digital Press is the first customer in the country to grab the first mover advantage by installing the Indigo 7500 in its printing press located in Coimbatore.The new HP Indigo 7500 digital offset press is the most flexible , technologically advanced high volume sheet fed digital printing solution in the market. Intelligent automation breakthroughs in the press deliver unprecedented quality, productivity and ease of operations. Designed for high volume production, the HP indigo 7500 digital press can print upto 120 A4 pages per minute (ppm) in full color or 240 ppm in either monochrome or 2 colour.

Commenting on this new digital offset press for the Indian Market, Puneet Chadha, Director, Graphic Solution Business, HP-IPG, said “We aim to tap fresh opportunities in Indian printing industry which is estimated to be about Rs 1,25,000 crore, of which digital printing industry in India is expected to grow at 25 percent year on year.”
