The HORNBILL INTERNATIONAL PHOTO FEST which was held in Kohima , NAGALAND, MILLENNIUM HOTEL from 1st to 7th December 2010, saw more than 85 photos from 45 photographers, both professional and amateur.
The jury consisted of the versatile photographer, Munish Khanna and Alban von Stockhausen from Germany.The winners were felicitated and awarded by Banuo Z Jamir, Additional Chief Secretary and Commissioner Nagaland.
The three persons who were declared the joint winners by the Judges and shared the first position were Tiatemjen K Jamir, Vikhor Tepa and Menosau Kevichusa. Each of individual were awarded Rs.40,000 each.
The consolation prize of Rs.5000 were awarded to Rokovor Vihienuo, Teisozhavi , Menuolhoulie Kire, Limawati Longchar, Soreishim Mahong, Khrozo Nuh, Medennungsang, Esther Kemp, Merimvu Doulo and Rendemo Shitio.
The Hip Fest was jointly organized by XL and the Government of Nagaland.
