More and more photographers are choosing to shoot video along with stills in an attempt to exploit the astonishing features that today’s cameras offer. Features like 4K video, Log profiles and microphone ports are to be found on even modestly priced cameras. This has led to a flourishing new accessories industry that helps to improve the quality of the footage you can capture. Products like wireless mics, separate large size monitors, turntables for product photography, gimbals and video tripods are widely available.
Of course, do not succumb to the temptation of standing in front of the camera unless you are well informed. I recently saw an automobile video from an ‘ influencer’ who called Maruti Suzuki a South Korean company. Ouch!
