Eastman Kodak Company has stated the termination of three Professional Ektachrome and Elite Chrome colour slide/reversal film products. The films are the Kodak Professional Ektachrome E100G, Kodak Professional Ektachrome E100VS Film and Kodak Professional Elite Chrome Extra Colour 100.
The demand and sales of these products had been steadily declining over the years.
The films will continue to ship until all remaining inventory has been depleted, with orders being filed on a first come, first served basis. No reservations for future delivery will be made. Kodak estimates that current supplies should last anywhere from 6 to 9 months at the current sales pace. The company pointed out it will continue to manufacture and market E6 chemicals as well as colour negative and black and white films.
