Olympus to push Endoscope training in China, India

Olympus Corp. is moving to expand its endoscope business in Asia by promoting training for doctors and offering lower-priced models. Through these steps, the company hopes to triple Asian sales to around 120 billion yen (US$1.46 B) by fiscal 2017. Canon to cut inventories by $1.22 billion
