Nikon has introduced the Z 30, an APS-C size/DX-format mirrorless camera in the Z series.
The Z 30 comes with up to 125 minutes of shooting time, an Eye-Detection Autofocus and Full-time Autofocus (AF-F). More focus modes are available to choose in Auto mode including Single Autofocus (AF-S), Continuous Autofocus (AF-C) and Manual Focus (MF). Animal-Detection AF that detects the eyes of pets is also available for both video and stills.
It has an ISO sensitivity of up to 25,600 for videos and up to 51,200 for still images. It offers Full HD/120p for slow-motion filming and 20 types of filter effects from Creative Picture Controls to choose from.
The camera sports a 7.5 cm vari-angle touch-sensitive monitor and weighs approximately 350 g. It also comes with an array of compatible accessories and a suite of Nikon ecosystem from a range of Nikkor lenses and Webcam Utility for live-streaming, to NX Studio. It uses the same image-processing engine used in the Z 7 along with Nikon’s own CMOS sensor. It also boasts an effective arrangement of operational controls inherited from Z series camera models.
