Olympus announced the launch of its E-P5 PEN Micro Four Thirds format compact camera, equipped with a 16.1MP Live MOS sensor and the TruePic VI Image Processor for clear, high-definition photos and full HD 1080p video recording.
The camera has ISO sensitivity up to 25,600, features 5-Axis Image Stabilization, shutter speeds up to 1/8000 sec and burst shooting up to 9 fps. There is also a 3.0” Tilt LCD Touch- screen (tilts to 80º up and 50º down), and inbuilt Wi-Fi connectivity. There was no word on pricing or availability at the time of the magazine going to print.
