Panasonic Consumer Electronics, has announced the launch of four new Lumix cameras. The models are DMC-TS3, DMC-FX78, DMC-ZS8, and DMC-ZS10.
The DMC-TS3 incorporates a rugged design and new features, such as built-in GPS, a compass, altimeter and barometer. The 12.1-megapixel Hi-Speed CCD sensor camera is waterproof shockproof, freezeproof and dustproof. The new Panasonic 3D Photo mode, produces realistic 3D photos by taking 20 consecutive photos and overlaying the two best ones to create a 3D image.
The Lumix FX78 features a new Smart Touch operation on the 3.5-inch, 16:9 aspect LCD, allowing for intuitive touch operation. It has a 12.1-megapixel Hi-Speed CCD sensor, offers 1920 x 1080 full-HD video recording in AVCHD and high speed continuous shooting.
The Lumix FX77 featuring an all new 3.5-inch large LCD and equipped with a new high quality LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT 24mm ultra wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom. The lens not only captures extreme wide angles, but also moving subjects, in low-light situations.
The LUMIX DMC-ZS10 has a 24mm ultra-wide-angle and 16x optical zoom Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens, full-HD 1920×1080 video, 3.0-inch Smart Touch Intelligent LCD (which allows for Touch Zoom, Touch Auto Focus, Touch Shutter, and Touch Playback), plus built-in GPS.
The DMC-ZS8 has the 24mm ultra-wide angle, 16x optical zoom Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens; iA mode including Power OIS, Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector, Face Recognition, Intelligent Exposure; Venus Engine VI with Intelligent Resolution; HD video recording; 3.0-inch Intelligent LCD; Manual exposure and Image Uploader. The ZS10 and ZS8 will be available in March 11.
