Following its acquisition of Pentax, Ricoh is all set to shift the production of its cameras to the Pentax Ricoh Imaging Company.
After the acquisition, Ricoh has moved to reorganise its digital imaging business. While Ricoh’s digital cameras were previously manufactured by the Personal Multimedia Product Company at Ricoh, they will now be designed, developed and sold by Pentax Ricoh Imaging Company, giving Pentax unprecedented power to shape Ricoh’s portfolio of cameras.
The shift is said to allow the company to strengthen customer relationships and provide innovative products and services.
