Ricoh Co. announced the development and release of Ricoh A16 24-85mm f3.5-5.5, making it the fifth camera unit in the GXR interchangeable unit camera system.
This new lens brings together a newly developed 24-85mm wide angle zoom lens, an APS-C size CMOS sensor and the proven Smooth Imaging Engine IV to create high quality images. The camera unit features a 23.6mmx 15.7mm 16.2 CMOS sensor which is said to deliver high resolution images. HD video can be recorded as well. ISO sensitivity can be set in 1EV or 1/3EV steps.
