SanDisk Corporation received the Thomson Reuters 2012 Top 100 Global Innovator Award for the second consecutive year, in recognition of “Volume, Success Rate, Global Reach and Influence of its Patent Portfolio…”
The award, part of Thomson Reuters’ IP Solutions business, honours corporations and institutions globally that are adjudged to be at the heart of innovation, based on a series of proprietary patent-related metrics. The principal criteria are: overall patent volume, patent grant success rate, global reach of the portfolio, and patent influence, as evidenced by citations.
